notes: I'm only partially crazy and this proves it. Who has two thumbs and would release a vid at 2am on a Saturday night? *points thumbs at self* This vidder. This is the first in a series of Battlestar Galactica vids I'm planning, so wee!

I made this vid with challenge 02 - scripture in mind, but was too intimidated to post until now.

Intimidated? Gods, not only is the vid awesome, I've been seeing it recc'ed all over the place. It's a great vid that totally got me to like the song on its own, which always says something awesome about a vid where I'm concerned. I'm not awake enough to give you specifics about what makes this vid so great, but it's something about its visceralness, all the fast jump cuts and the pace of the song, and how it builds with the song to a really intense ending, then pulls back at the end to that shot of them on Apocalyptic!Earth.

You should *totally* not be intimidated. This is a great vid. I have watched it multiple times.

I just watched this again while imagining the rapper was the Cylon God -- AND IT GAVE ME CHILLS.

OMG thank you for including this at [livejournal.com profile] thearchive2!

It's just awesome and TOTALLY belongs here.

Unfortunately your amazing awesome of responding to these challenges with vidlets has made ME want to do something similar. I was already thinking of using 'war for your mind' as the response to the wireless challenge, but now I want to be JUST LIKE YOU and try some other experimental vidlets.

I'm not sure I'll get to it all that soon because I just moved countries, am terrified of my new job, have FAR less free time than I did and have no net connection other than stealing the neighbours' wireless but I figure as long as I get all these done before the 4.5 premiere it'll be "in before the deadline".

But now I'm rambling and the point of this is - I just rewatched and EVERY TIME it's more awesome. "Split the atom of a molecule" is just fucking inspired, dude. Amazing.
